Description
The iDatalink's HRN-HRR-NI1 wiring adapter allows you to connect a new car stereo in select Fords, working in conjunction with iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR module, which is included with this package.
Once connected, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls and your factory amp in these vehicles.
This ADS-MRR requires you to flash software from computer with USB cable Included. You will need to log in Maestro iDatalink website to be able to flash.
Retain factory features
With select iDatalink-compatible radios from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, and Pioneer, you'll be able to retain the use of these factory features:
- steering wheel controls
- use of the factory amplifier, including balance and fade control
- rear-view and other cameras, depending upon aftermarket radio inputs
The harness also supplies the outputs (parking brake, reverse, and VSS [Vehicle Speed Sense]) necessary for installation of a navigation receiver, plus illumination and accessory power outputs.
